Two more of Lolo…
On the kitchen cabinet door, watching me make breakfast.
Oops, this wasn’t the photo I meant to take… but I think it turned out, anyway.
CBS News did a little spot on parrots a few weeks ago:

My latest pooping, screaming lifetime commitment…
Lolovivi
But we all knew I couldn’t remain greyless, yes?
Photos from my recent trip home are upcoming, I promise!
We’re not going for photographic brilliance here, just an illustration of Charlie’s new living space…
OK, so it’s a little raw, but it’s got climbing space and stuff to chew on, so Charlie’s happy. This photo somehow makes the whole thing look smaller than it is (that branch puts Charlie in front of the rest of it by a good bit). The upright 2×4′s are five feet tall… overall the thing is about four foot across and a bit over six high. Being the nice guy he is, he never leaves “his” space unless I ask him to, so there was never a time I had to put him in his cage… so why have one?
One more, just ’cause he’s nice to look at, even in poorly-lit flashed photos. His tail grew in sooo nice this last molt, not frayed at all.
Another blog? Sure, 750 Miles hadn’t been updated since last year, but that calls for an update, not a new blog, yes? Bah, I say, and throw my hands up in the air… but I want a new blog! Something with more stuff than 750 Miles, but with all the same stuff! Uh, well, somehow that made sense in my head. As 750 miles from home begins to feel like, well, home, the name and concept of the old blog seem a bit antiquated… and I like WordPress better than Blogspot, besides. I’ll likely write in this one no more than the last, but I mean to try touch base more often with links to interesting articles or whatever I may feel like throwing out there, even when I don’t get around to photos (there’s a million sitting on the harddrive, just need to do quick photoshop jobs on em, but I procrastinate). And c’mon… my family, Jeffrey’s family, Jeffrey you too… toss me a cookie now and then, a pat on the head. COMMENT, people, COMMENT! There’s a little clickylink just for that, and when you use it, it gives me a nice, warm, fuzzy feeling like someone’s actually looking at this thing. And if you think begging for comments is a wee bit shameless, just remember I’m still 750 miles away and it’s lonely out here!
